Located in Ashland, your child will be in a safe, classroom-like setting. Join our classroom atmosphere using the Massachusetts State Standards of teaching where we will provide your child with a fun learning experience they will never forget.

Our Philosophy
It is my philosophy that students learn their best when they feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable within their classroom. By creating a warm classroom environment, students at all learning levels and abilities know that they are walking into a safe place to learn, grow, and discover positive challenges to make them strong and independent learners.
About Maria
My name is Maria Wentworth, founder of Beyond the Classroom. I hold a Master's Degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Language Arts, and an Associates Degree in Science. I am licensed in Massachusetts to teach grades 1-6.
I believe in a fun but rigorous multi-sensory approach to learning. Each child learns differently, and it is so important to reach the needs of ALL children, because of this I am a strong believer in the power of YES!
